How is Prince (paisley park enterprises) paying for this tour?

Does anyone know? Perhaps Universal Music?

it's your $100 NPGMC money going to work for you. figure the four discs actually cost Prince money, it costs him nothing to allow members first crack at good seats. to make enough CD's for club members is not a great deal of money anymore. you can get 10,000 discs made for $9900, (discmakers.com) works out to .99 a piece, four discs costs him four bucks to make. $96 profit on your NPGMC membership. obviously i'm not adding in the production cost for the actual music, but being he's doing everything in-house, his costs are lower than if a major label was footing the bill. think there's 10,000 members of the club? one hundred members will pay for the CD manufacturing cost alone. every member beyond that is free money.

that might B true production wise, but add to that mailing fees multiplied by 4 plus whatever infenitivity is charging him 4 his website.
Of course I'm sure there's a profit margin, but certainly not as high as people think..smile

i didn't factor in the website, since he would have that regardless of the club, and with sending out discs instead of downloads, he's not using as much bandwidth anyways, which costs less. i did neglect the postal charges, i'd say those costs are negligible also. i send videotapes for under $5 a piece, i know international costs will be higher, but it's not like he's gonna send those by extra-jiggy UPS Overnight, they go on the slow boat (which is cheaper), as they say. plus i'm sure he gets a bulk mailing rate anyways. he's making more profit than you think. more power to him...

you know prince is more or less raking in the dough!

* Emancipation & Crystal ball made prince over $24 Million dollars..

plus all these other projects gross around $1 million per for prince..

so he ain't hurtn' for money..

BUT I think it is a pretty good question.. as in how much every venue cost for him.. to rent..
