U've got the song & album xenophobia- any opinions on what angle Prince is taking on this !

Who has got the song and Album?

I'm an NPGMC member and I certainly haven't.

He has played it live though ... maybe that accounts for the confusion?

They are using it as the house music for the One Nite Alone tour. It is instrumental and stunning.

Looks like Prince is trying to move away from the role of pop-star and back into the role of artist. "Xenophobia" may refer to the inevitable backlash of fear and hatred that will ensue due to this change (see reaction to "TRC" and the anticipated reaction to "Xenophobia").

Hell hath no fury like a fan base experiencing change. You might call it “Xenophobia”. Miles Davis could definitely relate to this type of fear.

Just take a quick look around p.org today and you'll get all the xenophobia you can handle.
