My Cd player is one of those that has CD Text on it and tells you the artist,tack title etc.

I put Musicology in it the otherday and,for the first time,actually looked at the display - the track titles were totally different. At first I though they were cute little sub-titles ie Million Days was coming up as Long Goodbye (or similar)...so I could see the conection but then I noticed that What Do U Want Me 2 Do? was called The Death...cant make a link there, sorry!!! All the songs were different title but Im sure it still ahd Prince as the artist and Musicology as the album

Has anybody else found this...maybe I should Ebay my CD as an ultra rare cock-up

Personally, I don't see the big deal. It's clearly some glitch in the ID tag. I wouldn't exactly expect a record company who can't spell "saxophone" to get that kinda shit right, either.

When I play it on Window Media Player, the titles come out right. That's really strange.

No need for alarm. They are a new band on SONY. It's just a manufacturing error. This happens a lot. Lucky for you it was just the song titles, not the actual music by Crossfade.

Yeah but mine isnt on my PC,its a stand alone CD player ...which means that info is coded onto the CD

I got confused with what I thought the titles were...they are exactly what other people have written

Come on you people! It was most probably done on purpose to slow down music downloaders. Evidently, it is working. As you see it confused the hell out of ya'll.
