Returns to the top 5? I thought he was #4 last week! Anyway, great to see him staying up towards the top!

We all know he was really 25 or 30 or whatever it turned out to be. A loophole is just that.
I mean he GAVE away twice as many copies as he sold this week.

The album did better then I thought but it's not really the number five album in the country.

Amazing, isn't it? How some people still don't want to give Prince his due and say that this album is successful and want to continue to make excuses on wht they were wrong about Prince selling albums, selling out arenas, etc.

Also, it continues to amaze me that people that complain about the concert CDs being included in the album sales, that it hasn't occured to them that people who were given the CDs at the concerts would have most likely bought the album anyway??

It occurs to me that me and my girlfriend probably both would not have bought second copies. It also occurs to me that most people in St. Paul I know went to all 3 shows and they had already purchased the cd so now they have 4 copies.

Your point may have been valid if people only attended one show and it was before the release date of the cd.

OK I must be old...I don't know any of the music in the top ten. I recognize the names...are any of these good?

Velvet Revolver looks to be the only curiosity...that's Scott Weilin's band, right?

Anyway, go Prince!

Yeah Scott,
Slash, Duff (original member of guns n roses)
Matt (The drummer of the use you illusions guns n roses album)
Dave (from the punk band suicidal tendencies)

they are all great.

I am a big fan of STP and Guns.

The Purple Album from STP and appetite for destruction is two of the best ever rock albums ever released.

I think the new line up is good. But I seriously doubt they'll be together longer than Scott can keep it straight. But hopefully...they are all talented.

Re: two best rock albums...Perhaps in the past decade, I'd agree with ya there, but that's a really strong statement...to blanket Rock like that with two reletively "new" bands. Just IMO
