Any way you cut it, Musicology is a commercial success.
Even better if I underestimated Prince's retail sales.

As Bugs Bunny said to Elmer Fudd, "Hey laughing boy, well whaddya know, no more buwwets!" 2004: The Return of Positvity! Sorry, but the album still sucks. It did well because of ticket sales, low competition and great promotion. That doesn't make for a great album. You'll see, Musicology will be forgotten about by the world. Well, "the world" can barely remember most of Marilyn Manson's records and you still think they are great, perhaps with good reason. Sales figures, what the world "remembers", etc. are not automatic indicators of quality. Bach was virtually forgotten for 100 years and so was Vivaldi -- even longer in fact. While I don't think Musicology is in Prince's top 5 records in terms of quality, it is not a "piece of crap" and it will be remembered as a "comeback" by one of the greatest musicians of the 20th and 21th century. Nothing less nothing more.

Exactly Mr Aero. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

But the difference is that most people won't consider it to be a masterpiece. I think it's an album the people will put at the bottom of their collection. ----- You are beginning to look like a nutjob. I think you can see the the CD has sold about 50,000.00 copies without the ticket give-away and little airplay. It is not a bad showing for someone who is really just starting to turn his carreer around.

I'm the one looking like a nutjob? The only time you appear is when you have something negative to write about me. That's what stalkers do, and maybe YOU'RE the real nutjob here. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

Evil, you saying Musicology is total shit is just fine, cause it's your opinion. It's when you start assuming the world's future view of it that you start making yourself look stupid.
Sometimes you talk as if you're this psychic who can look into the future and see Prince's failure.
