You know your popular when the Russ Parr morning show (Radio One & TV One) which is heard in several urban markets throughout the US - make a joke about you. Yes, Prince is back. From The David Chappel Show to the Russ Parr Morning SHow, it's 1985 all over again - LOL

The joke was that Prince called the radio station - and then charged them $50,000 just for permission to talk to him. The station then proceeds to have the Prince impersonator sing his song - "My name is Prince and I am funky" Did anyone else hear it this morning? What was your take on it? Holla!

Aww dayum that show was on the local urban station here a few years ago but was pulled for some local dumbos but I wish I would have caught this shit.

There have been several "mock Prince" skits on Russ Parr. They did one for his birthday last week, too! I'm not a fan of Russ. I actually don't like the way they mock him. I think they are making fun of him more out of disrespect than respect.

I didn't catch the one you are talking about, but I did hear a little bit of the one they did last week and it was funny as hell...

i really liked the RUSS PARR SHOW with OLIVIA FOX. they pulled it here in dallas last year and installed the STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW which SUCKS ASS. i heard OLIVIA is not on the show anymore. i wonder what happend.
