I know a lot of people want all of the Prince videos in one collection, but I'm more interested in an official release of "Sign O' The Times", "The Undertaker", Prince Live (1985), and that aftershow from Bagleys "Sacrifice Of Victor"... I have them all on Japanese laserdisc, but to have them remastered on DVD (like UTCM, GB, and PR are going to be on 8/24...) that would be a significant upgrade. Can't wait for the commentary track... you know it's going to be good because they've nothing to lose... it's not like they're ever going to work with Prince again, so they can tell it like it is without worrying about repurcussions 
Anyways, that's what I'll check out first on 8/23 or 8/24. (When the DVDs arrive.) That's the nice thing about Amazon. I got the Simpsons Complete 4th Season on DVD in the mail today [color=red:7e16854c53]a day before it's release date[/color]... In Belgium the´Sign O`Times` has allready been released for several months. I think 2004 is great year for all Prince fans with all the upcoming DVD releases and the Musicology succes-since´Rave ...`his first REAL Prince album and to me it souns like`Sign O´Times´anno 2004.I also hope Livesexy and Prince Live´85 and others won´t be forgotten and released on DVD.By the way..thanks to those who knew where I could get a listen 2 the new Morris! how is the quality though? is it a remaster like the 3 films being released here in the u.s. in august, or is it just another crappy recording from someone's vhs copy? until it's given a proper remaster, and at least 5.1 sound... it shouldn't be considered that it's been released on dvd at all. (my 2 cents) | |

Paisley4U Paisley, you are correct about the Belgium SOTT release but I was burned by the Brazilian release (it's horrible) and I'd prefer that Universal/MCA or whomever controls the rights to the flick would do a fully-authorized release. i'm glad i'm not the only one... the only thing i'm worried about is that mca/universal or whoever owns the rights at this point will think that since there's already a shitty copy out, that would be good enough. weird that they aren't taking advantage of his recent popularity again like wb did. | |
