I just ordered all 3 on Amazon. I am REALLY looking forward to Under The Cherry Moon, which is one of my favorite movies. The cinematography, music, and sheer foolishness of it all has grown on me over the years.
And we get videos with PR and UTCM? Does anybody know if the GB DVD will have the extended version of "Thieves In The Temple"? If these DVDs sell well, and the Prince resurgence continues, maybe Warner can be lobbied to release ALL Prince videos on DVD. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I know a lot of people want all of the Prince videos in one collection, but I'm more interested in an official release of "Sign O' The Times", "The Undertaker", Prince Live (1985), and that aftershow from Bagleys "Sacrifice Of Victor"... I have them all on Japanese laserdisc, but to have them remastered on DVD (like UTCM, GB, and PR are going to be on 8/24...) that would be a significant upgrade. Can't wait for the commentary track... you know it's going to be good because they've nothing to lose... it's not like they're ever going to work with Prince again, so they can tell it like it is without worrying about repurcussions 
Anyways, that's what I'll check out first on 8/23 or 8/24. (When the DVDs arrive.) That's the nice thing about Amazon. I got the Simpsons Complete 4th Season on DVD in the mail today a day before it's release date... | |

I have several recordings of the MTV Purple Rain Premiere party but none with the mini live performance Prince gave. I do hope that it is included in the DVD release. I think Sheila performed as well. Can anyone confirm this? -----------------------------------------

I'm really looking forward to the 20th Anniversary edition of 'Purple Rain' and look forward to the extra features included, but am I the only one thinking that a feature on Prince and his influence of the music scene with input from his fans isn't going to be that relevant seeing as from the early 90's, Prince and Warner Brothers hardly saw eye to eye? | |

Straightening out the rights has got to be a hassle. I am shocked Universal hasn't made plans to release SOTT in its full glory in light of Prince's mainstream comeback. The others would make sense, but who has the rights to the "Undertaker" show? That's the nice thing about Amazon.
