Ray Charles and Prince

I am pretty sad that Ray Charles has passed on without learning what Prince would have done with him in the studio. We've all heard how good the music could be when we heard the Pepsi commercial for UH HUH. That was an amazing tune. Imagine what sort of album could have been created with the two of them working next to each other in the studio? Sadly, now we'll all have to imagine it and not experience it.

Ray Charles was a huge influence on Prince. His soul, his passion and his heart are all felt in Prince's music. Without him, we'd have no Stevie Wonder, no Little Richard, and no Prince. At least, not in the form we know.

Any other Ray Charles fans out there?
