If I had to say just one, it'd have to be "Data Bank". Pure Revolution funk and funny as hell at the end when the band go off on their own and to hell with what Prince tells 'em to do ! wink

If I could add others, I'd say:

Computer Blue (Extended)
Rebirth of the Flesh
Empty Room

I'll go with:
Large Room With No Light
All My Dreams
Wonderful Ass
Witness 4 The Prosecution

There are so many it's almost impossible to choose, but these are probably the ones that I would most love to have released.

Peace, David

how can u not list that one?

Hell yeah. I love cookie jar too!

People, as was stated much of this has been released. Check out "G-Spot" on Jill Jones S/T. etc...

And why does everyone keep calling that song "in a large room with no light" ????? I have it titled "Rat Race" (not that that is for sure the title but...) which makes more sense because of the fact that that's what it's about, where as we don't call Purple Rain "I only want to see you laughing" just because it's part of the chorus line. Where do you get your bootlegs? smile

My personal vote goes for either "I Wonder" (although I would prefer a longer version) and/or that version of "Soul Phsycadelicide" with George Clinton... the 9 minute one! Hell yeah!

Good question...Like most everyone who's posting here, I can't pick just one.

1. Empty Room-1995 version
2. Electric Intercourse
3. All My Dreams
4. Wonderful Ass
5. Witness for The Prosecution
6. Alexa De Paris
7. Studio version of "Days of Wild"
I know I'm forgetting some great ones, but that's what I have so far.

Other favorite songs:

Empty Room 95
All Day, All Night
Data Bank
Desire
I Can't Love U Anymore
Chocolate
Purple Music
In A Large Room With No Light
The Line
Witness 4 the Prosecution
Hold Me
Can U Come Outside and Play
Old Friends 4 Sale 85
We Can Funk 86
Heaven

Question: My version of Empty Room is not even 2 minutes long. Is that right? It sounds like there should be more to it.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Just one is kinda tough.

I'll go with,

- The Grand Progression
- Open Book (Actually released, twice I think, but not
Prince version).
- Noon Rendezvous (Ok, this is also a released song
(Sheila),
but I think Prince should release it (or at least play
it live). The live rehearsal (with band mistakes and all)
kicks!

- Old Friends 4 Sale ('86).
- Electric Intercourse.

If I have to go with one, then Grand Progression.

Wonderful Ass is one of my favorites, a damn fine track.

But the one I really love best is I-Bitch (Irresistable Bitch, the original demo version), which I found at AG. It's a superb funky track, totally unlike the version he later used a a B-side (which is really crappy compared to the original). A great Linn drumbeat, dry bass, funky guitar, Minneapolis style keyboard hits and passionate lyrics (he's not singing but biting/shouting them). It's (one of) the funkiest track(s) I have ever heard. So you funk lovers, you know what to do...

Yeah, this is a pretty cool track, along with the original Feel U Up. Quite funky, though, in my opinion, it's not his best unreleased. I picked Extra Lovable, but it barely won out over Neon Telephone, In A Large Room With No Light, Electric Intercourse, A Million Miles, and G-Spot!
