The worst albums I ever brought by Prince was Chaos & Disorder, Crystal Ball (I liked some of the tunes like the title track, Interactive, and Movie Star.), and probably Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. I kinda liked Rave a little more than I liked C&D and Crystal Ball. So, what was some of the worst Prince albums you ever brought?

Love them or hate them, I'm keeping C&D, Old Friends, crystal ball, Rave, NPS and what ever else I've bought. That was some good money I spent.

But on to the question, what albums do I think are the worst? Well, I know I'm really going out on a limb here but New Power Soul is definitely my least favourite album. I used to dislike Rave but now I realise it's not that bad. At least it's better than New Power Soul. But it's not the first album I reach for either.

I can't say that I hate it but I still haven't gotten into N.E.W.S. I know lots of folks dig it but the songs are a little too long and aimless for my tastes.

Again, it's a popular choice, but I never liked Kamasutra.

When Crystal Ball was released I was very dissapointed with the overall skimpiness of the collection (3 cd's all under 50 minutes? That means Prince could have crammed about 90 more minutes of music on those 3 cd's! Urrgghh! It's not as if he didn't have the songs to fill three full cd's [75 minutes apiece]). But there are quite a few great songs on there. What I'm trying to say is that the whole thing leaves a very bad taste in my mouth but not because of the music, more because of the lack of music.

I would love to hear a re-recorded For You album. I'm not saying it's among my least favourites, it isn't. But I think many of those songs would benefit from a more basic instrumental approach. Has Prince ever played any of those songs live over the last 20 years?
I'd love to hear them if he did.

i'd have to say Rainbow Children. It is pretty bad. Almost as bad is New Power Soul.

love chaos and disorder. maybe for you because it sounds dated. would like prince to redo this one. make it more polish. not happy with rainbow children with all that darth vader talking through out the album.

My least favorite is the Black Album. I was surprised to see New Power Soul listed so often. Push It Up and Freaks on this side may be two of his worst songs, but I thouroughly enjoy everything else on that album.

Both are currently up for the 'thickest layer of dust on a CD' in the Guiness book of records.

Whoever said the Black album, I intend to hunt you down and tie you to a chair and turn on the neon.

I like `em all. Maybe i am in the wrong house.

My worst Prince Cd has to be, "Come" with exception of "Space" I really cannot stand that CD.

I have grown to love the album for what it is but in 1985 when I bought this I almost cried .

It would have to be the Black album(he said not to buy it).
There is not one song on it that I liked.
I sold it a couple of months ago on e-bay for $50(not bad, i paid $10)
