The risk of undoing good publicity

After reading about Prince's ludicrous counter-claim against "The Camera Kid", I was wondering something.

Prince has been receiving some good press of late, both with the album and the tour with many journalists alluding to the point that he's not longer "up his own arse" and is starting to live in the real world.

However with this outrageous counter-claim that taking his photo infringes trademark and copyright laws, does he run the risk of undoing all this good work in a single moment ?

Opinions please

I think it'll end up being a much bigger scandal on the org and housequake.com. If the general public cares at all about it, it'll just be another goofy ass Prince story, but not that big a deal.

no one will care about this more than cats on the org and housequake (as someone said). most people won't even hear about this.

prince is far from the first person to get upset over people taking unauthorized photos. if its all true that this guy was 'assaulted', that is too bad. p should pay. but if not, i can't blame him getting annoyed at all the people that linger around him just to say they shook his hand or were standing near him.

I don't think it'll do much harm on the larger scale. It actually sounds similar
to the "old" Prince that was so quirky and goofy, so I don't think the general
public will be as up in arms as some of us here and over housequake.

Remember, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark
