Quick question...are there any other versions of Vicki Waiting (live or otherwise). Please list them if they exist. Thanks in advance!!!

Yes there is a live version - it was an NPGMC track back in year 1. I love that song too....although I did spend a good few years thinking the line was "is my character enough to be, what a difference the coffee made" instead of "....one that deserves a copy made"

Although uncirculating - there's also the original version, Anna Waiting (written about Anna Fantastic).

The version that appears in the movie is also different from the album version. It's tough to hear because it's played as background music to a party going on at Wayne Mansion. It seems better, though. The beat is more pronounced and there's extra percussion.

Well, if you listen to the backround music during the Evening Party scene in Batman, you'll hear Vicky Waiting & Electric Chair, and its just Prince on guitar...simply awesome! Wish those versions would circulate.

This is my "Holy Grail" of Prince music.
I am still floored everytime I hear the Batman version.

Hardcore collectors have not been able to get their hands on it and I would imagine that it would be impossible to get it.

My wish is for the NPGMC making it available as a paid download because I would pay to have it.

Moonrakers 3cd set 'Budokan' features 2 live versions of Vicki Waiting at The Budokan Tokyo on the 17th of January 95 and one at the same venue on the 9th of January.

I like the joke that Batman says to Vicky in the song! When very young, didn't get it-that was funny too!
