At the start of gett off.... Is that a scream or is Prince actually saying something (and is it just me or is that sampled in the 1993 track Jump Around by House of Pain???)

It's just a scream.
It isn't sampled in 'Jump Around', that's a sample of someone else. | |

I'm jus listening to a live version from 2000, it must be Rosie cause he's still saying something when the scream comes in... GO ON ROSIE! I always assumed it was Prince. I didn't think her range would go quite to there, even if it is a scream! | |

You guys are nuts. Rosie??? That sounds just like a Prince scream, especially the second syllable (if a scream can contain syllables).
I always thought that was the sample used in Jump Around, too. How do you guys know it's not? | |

Why would Prince use a backing track of Gett Off? Guy can do anything live, and does. Why skimp on this one song and use a backing track? | |
