'ATWIAD' isn't one of my favorite Prince albums,but I adore that song.

I don't like that album either but i do love that track! It's trippy but very happy, child-like sounding too! I hate heavy hippyish stuff though!

Sounds like a nursery rhyme! Good song to cheer u up!

Yeah it's great. I love the guitars on it. ATWIAD has some sublime moments - COTH, Raspberry Beret, The Ladder

That song is more derivative of the Beatles than 3 chains of gold is to Queen. In a way it's more of a tribute to the Beatles IMO because lyrically it has Elanor Rigby stamped on it and musically its sprinkled with Stawberry Fields. All in all it isn't one of my favorite Prince songs.

Paisley Park is a fantastic song, my favorite on ATWIAD, and a truly magical tune. It's sheer perfection, I say. I can't quite put my finger on why it's so special, but it's truly a wonderful piece of work.

i love the see-saw melody, and the way the flute keyboard sound is almost out of time. then the bluesy dirty guitar which is a big contrast, which could only be prince at that time putting those sounds together.

yes, the wendy and lisa influence is heavy on this (their carnival, fairground sound type arrangements)

I love Paisley Park the song, it is in my top 3 favorite Prince songs of all time. It is a feel good song , almost euphoric .

if you play the opening backwards on the extended verison, you can hear wendy and lisa singing "god is love".

Paisley Park is really a great song. It's one of those songs that I appreciated more as an adult than I did as a kid.

i can't listen to the song anymore without giggling now cuz of sumfin that me and a few other orgers know about.

I happen to love the song and cd. I didn't appreciate it when it came out. ATWIAD took A LONG time to grow on me, but I recently went on a weeks long listen of it.

I LOVE THAT SONG! I LOVE TO HER LISA & WENDY SING, WISH THAT THEY CAN GET TOGETHER FOR ANOTHER ALBUM OR, AT LEAST A GUEST APPEARANCE.
