Strange that when he needs one, it's never ready. He's too busy making videos for songs that never see the light of day. Go figure!

why does he bother with promo videos anymore?

You know I think you are right. Now that I think about it he does seem to release late videos quite often. I know he did not with Diamonds and Pearls and with the Symbol album but other than that I can't remember him really releasing the damn things at the right time to help the single.
I think Prince just really doesn't care about videos all that much. Plus he has been on tour so that has kept a majority of his time and I think that if you asked him what was more important the music video or his tour...well you know what he is going to say.
