Puttin' a Prince 'Blues' album- Help

I'm puttin together a Prince Blues album. I've thought of several tracks, but there's so many, if I don't write them down when I think of them, I forget. There's some tracks off of The Truth, Musicology and The Vault that I'm sure to include.

Any tracks stick out in your head, help a brotha out, help me stay Blue wink

If you can get "Telemarketer's Blues" that would rock...I'd like to find it myself. I've, umm, "acquired" some bluesy tracks he's done. Even covered Red House w/ Johnny Lang once. He does a cover of that on the Hendrix Tribute, I hear. YOu can even include How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?" It's pretty bluesy. "On The Couch" is a bit bluesy. And checkt out numerous tracks from The Truth.

Dig up Blues In C(If I Had A Harem). Also The Undertaker sessions.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

He just called out Johnny's name but he never joined him on stage. This is from the DVD so it's very obvious he didn't join him.

If you can also find "Down Home Blues/Kansas City, Here I Come", that's pretty sweet!

Straight up. officially-released blues:

The Ride

Zannalee

The Truth

Perhaps, the recently released version of Red House (Purple House) on the Hendrix tribute album, 'Power Of Soul'.

(I'd personally include 'How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore" and "On The Couch")
.
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Yea, those smile That Thieves acoustic is awesome too.

Like the idea of Old Friends 4 Sale & Forever In My Life too, great suggestions!

I think I prefer Red House from the Rave DVD - there's some SWEET guitar during the prelude to him singing...

GREAT THREAD thumbs up!

There are some great bluesy outtakes (Thieves in the Temple, Cold Coffee and Cocaine) but most of them have poor sound quality. I'd try these:

The Ride (Crystal Ball version or perhaps Undertaker version)
Zannalee (not the Chaos and Disorder version)
Old Friends 4 Sale (original version)
5 Women
Purple House (Power of Soul or Rave Un2 the Year 2000 version)
How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?
Blues In C
Volkswagen Blues
The Truth

that's all I can think of for now.

Is there a studio version of Blues in C? The only versions I've come across were live performances from the Lovesexy tour.

Here's an updated list. I added Peach and in there too, as it follows a basic blues progression (at least in chordal contour):

The Ride (Crystal Ball version or perhaps Undertaker version)
Zannalee (not the Chaos and Disorder version)
Old Friends 4 Sale (original version)
5 Women
Purple House (Power of Soul or Rave Un2 the Year 2000 version)
How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?
Blues In C
Volkswagen Blues
The Truth
Peach
