i had the pleasure of meeting Michael B several years ago when he played a jazz festival here. he was drumming for Chaka Khan. after the show i snuck backstage and introduced myself to him. of course i stated that i was a huge Prince fan and all that. i mentioned i had a boot from called The Pod and i said how the Santana Medley on it just blows me away everytime.
he said that Prince is one of those guys that doesn't miss any details. he said he was sitting at the piano at soundcheck one day and he noticed a blue light went the wrong way and he told the lighting guy to get it right.
