Prince should stop by Oprah with Prince doing 5 shows at the Allstate Arena here in Chicago he should somehow find some time to do the Oprah show..its amazing how artists that go on Oprah increase their record sales 25 to 30,000 the week after..it helped George Michael and Lionel Richie these past few week...the Allstate Arena holds 18,500 people and he has 5 shows there coupled with his regular 40,000 retail sales as of late and the extra retail that would be sold due to the Oprah show..Musicology would have a big chance of hitting number #1 around that time...just a thought Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3 | |

Unless they don't get along anymore, I can't see why he wouldn't. For all we know, it might be in the works. Regardless of what some people think about Oprah, she can work wonders for his sales. Being on her show is always a big deal. | |

Am I missing something? I mean do people around here have a problem with the first Oprah interview. I thought it was cool and it certainly helped him push units. Why is there this negative reaction to Prince on Oprah?

Peace I agree with ya...I really didn't see anything wrong with the first interview. I think the atmosphere was still kinda of tense because of their pain and lost....  "A united state of mind will never be divided

I remember that he had lied to Opera a couple of times during that interview.
1. He lied about his child - Can't blame him 2. About the intentions behind his name--that it somehow came to him in a dream, and he believes that it was another personality--and alternate one that he had become. 3. That he has multiple personalities and that one is a woman--or that they're not sure about the sex of it. The list goes on and on. I'm not sure if Opera would feel about being lied to the first time. I mean, at the very least , she's gonna ask him about those previous statements. She ain't shy about interviews. | |
