Some person on another forum said that Prince and Michael Jackson were twins who had been seperated after the birth ... I guess it was just a lunatic tryin' to catch attention

some girl who used to work with me told me this one rumor that he likes to eat twinkies but not swallow 'em...that, and there's the dirt-old rumor that he's the anti-christ.

Whenever the non fans asking or sayin me that he's gay I replies:
HE IS BISEXUAL!!!
They are shuting up faster then you even might imagine!!!

A former friend of mine once told me that Prince actually had a drug problem back in the early 80's. Now we all know that this is not true. If that were the case then it would've been proven. Rick James had a drug problem in the 80's, and he made it look very obvious.

whoa! thats ilky! lets c i've heard the gay one...alot! the freak from outer space one and this one i heard recently..a friend of mine told me that the reason him and his wife (mayte) got a divorce is bcuz he used to tie her up and make her watch him have sex with other women...and then she sued him...my friend has a good imagination right?

The only crazy rumours I've heard about Prince came from this very website. And I've heard all of the above mentioned several times over the last few years. Generally in this exact type of thread. Of course, I live in Minneapolis and we take care of our own. Never hear anyone thinking he's gay (or that would care if he was), etc. Usually it's just "my brother's best friend's cousin's niece used to see Prince at the roller disco back in the day" type of stories. And everyone in Mpls has one of those stories.

I have been told by a reliable source that Jerome does alot of the recording for Prince and that his is the mastermind behind alot of his success. He is Jamie Starr (Jerome Starr???) and that is why he doesn't have to do much with The Time. He just dances and tries to look like he doesn't know what is going on. Think about it. He is the ONLY person beside Prince that is in all 4 movies (PR, UTCM SOTT and GB). Whats up with that?

It could be true. Maybe that is why Prince doesn't write a book about his studio sessions. He is afraid to let everyone know.

Maybe I've just got a bad memory (I haven't watched SOTT for a while), but I don't remember Jerome being in it.
I could be wrong of course. Can anyone jog my memory??

The strangest "facts" I've heard from people is that "he's gay", "he used to be a woman", and during the days that he was "insane, like LITERALLY insane-he sleeps in a padded cell I heard". I backed away slowly.

I remember one person had some fascination saying that Prince loved goats. That he liked them, and I mean REALLY liked them. Why goats I'm not sure, but I made sure to have some tin cans around when this person was nearby. Also, someone once said he and Michael Jackson were in fact the same person. I gave them proof how that couldn't be and they said they were twins. Man, people will come up with anything when they know nothing about a man.

Long gone??? Jerome wasnt even an original Time member. Jerome is Terry Lewis' real life brother and was introduced into The Time after J.J. and T.L. were expelled. He was one of the peeps that stayed around and worked with P and The Family. He wasnt in SOTT, but remained intouch with P for years after UTCM. Morris went solo, and Jerome stayed and played with The Family. Furthermore, TRUST ME.....Jerome IS NOT anywhere near responsible for P's success. Jerome Starr????? You newbies kill me!!!!!

The Parade tour ended in September 1986 - the last time Jerome appeared with Prince and the Revolution. The Sign tour didn't even start until the following May of 1987. That makes him long gone in Paisley time.
