PrintableWell, there were many interesting views written about something we know will never come to be. However, just think back when "Janet" was into her vereeee sexy days. I doubt if we would really listen to the lyrics for a couple of months because I think the video would be smoking. When she had the long wavy light brownish/blonde hair, and when his hair was long (think Theives in the Temple). I think the video would be smokingly hot and maybe on the verge of x-rated. Ooooh, I just thought of something. A mix of "If.....I was your girl" (Janet) and "If I was your Girlfriend" (Prince)" would be so hot. Janet grabbing Prince's head and pulling into her crotch (ala the video), and so on and so forth. Yeah, I think that would be cool. Anyone concur? people fantasize about them working together because they are huge talents.
prince is extraordinary in the scope of his talent, but michael is an amazing performer and vocalist, and sometimes a decent writer IMO. juvenile, but decent. unfortunately, michael is sick. i don't mean he's a pedophile, beacause i don't know that. i actually don't think he is one. i just think he's a classic, sad case of arrested development. i think the guy is deeply troubled. and it seems like he still thinks he's on top, and that's scary. he really is a child that never grew up. what is growing up, after all, but having to change and adapt while dealing with problems, situations, responsibilities, and learning to think of others? i know, i know, he thinks of others- he gives tons to charities. well, throwing a ton of one's disposable cash at underprivileged kids may be coming from a sweet, generous place, but it is not a huge sacrifice if you can go on a $100,000 las vegas shopping spree the next day. what has he ever had to worry about except record sales? and how his face looks? i guess that's not fair, i don't know what he deals with on a day to day basis. he just seems so disconnected and out of touch and IN HIS OWN WORLD. i mean, dancing on top of his car at his court appearance? he's a 10 year old. i mourn the loss of michael as an artist whose full adult potential was never achieved. i cannot listen to any but a few of his songs without seeing that distorted, bleached-out face of his. prince has grown up, and so has his music. he's not a kid trying to show off all the time anymore. i mean, he's still an egomaniac, and an eccentric, but i see an adult who has learned restraint. michael and prince collaborate? don't think it'll happen. it might have been amazing. | |

Its all about the music remember, the music is what keeps the people going. The only reason Nikki suggested it is because they are both so talented and the single would be a huge sucess. what happens when you put 2 great artists together? You get a great piece of art right? Not to start an arguement but i'm kinda sickened that some people would just stop listening to Mike if he was gulity? Wheres the sense in that? the songs are great? And the micheal and prince joke is so sad, i've heard them all now and some people just think they're so funny with their cheesy MJ jokes! About mike mistaking Prince for a 10 year old. that is so dum, i don't even think prince would appreciate that joke so called Prince fan!! You're just not funny.
