Madonna has imposed a "cursing fine" on anyone in her entourage heard swearing during the Re-Invention world tour.


"Every time someone curses they have to pay a fine," an insider told the New York Post and Madge's PA Liz Rosenberg confirmed the story. "That is correct. And by the way, she has paid plenty (herself). I think it is $5 (about £3) a curse word." According to US reports Madonna's already spent a small fortune on the swear box during the rigorous rehearsals.


In other Madge news Rabbi Shmuley Boteach has labeled the Material Girl a "slut" and a "vulgarian" in a posting on a Jewish website and has criticised the head of his Kabbalah Centre for allowing Madonna to be his religion's highest-profile spokesperson.
