annie christian I listened to this song (on vinyl none the less) for the first time in years, man that song actually holds up pretty well. What was P's specific political message, is she obviously a metaphore for the anti christ, if so, it's very clever, "second to none" "his only son" "she killed john lennon" "she killed black children" "tried to kill reagen"....great song, now that i'm older, i actually understand it, not his best musically, but i love the message and metaphores

it's funny you say that, frog, cause i much prefer the message to the music, i think the music is sub par, but when analized, the lyrics are fascinating

I remember singing the chorus to that song in front of my mom, the next thing I remembered was a big slap in the mouth. She thought I was praising the Anti-Christ. Man, talk about not understanding the context. GeSmi1 Baby, Baby, Baby...what's it going 2 b?

Beats me, but it's the music that I dig the most. It's got that New Wave/Electro-Pop/Funk sound. Reminds me of Devo, or The Suburbs, or Human League. He had to be vibing on that stuff to be inspired to come up with this classic. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

It's very deep and just vauge and specific enough that it totally peaks my interest. plus the reagen line is more relevant now than ever [This message was edited Mon Jun 7 6:03:02 2004 by LAProducer]
