That's great, but it's not necessary to start a thread every time you buy a Prince album. Say something ABOUT the albums, then we have a thread...otherwise, that's great, but.... so? | |

Cool. I just ate a sausage dipped in the mayonnaise jar. Following that I watched a little TV. I put Musicology on briefly before closing the windows to keep out the mosquitos. After that I asked my wife to make me some iced tea and she went downstairs. I decided not to go the market as I'm a little strapped for cash until my paypal money comes through. Point taken. I was posting about them because I thought someone would have some
opinions on both of them but if I gotta go first thats fine. I think ATWIAD sounds unlike any other Prince album and I love it anyway. I also really like at least some of Chaos because the man plays some mad guitar on the album. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. ATWIAD is wonderful. Yes, I think it's very different than any other album of Prince's. Some of the tracks are vaguely veering towards the Parade sound but it is certainly worlds away from its predecessor, Purple Rain.
Chaos is just a "good" album. Two tracks stuff it up for me: Dig U Better and Eye Rock Therefore....which both sound pretty much the same and totally break up the rest of the great live band rock feel of the other tracks. | |
