Ego has nothing to do with talent. Lots of poeple are talented; even moreso than Prince. Also talent spans across different fields. I sure as hell wouldn't go to Prince for heart surgery; would you? I don't tend to think of prince in a personal way - I just respect and love his music. But seems to me - he thinks of others - doesn't he have a few charities, ie Love4oneanother - hasn't he opened up Paisley Park to his fans (and that isn't about the money) I think it would be very stressful to have fans storming thru his studios poking into everything. Hasn't he helped many musicians - given freebies to his fans - (I seem to remember receiving The War just for ordering Crystal Ball). I'm sure there's too much to mention. And his whole philosophy on Life, Love and God - is definitely not ME ME ME.
Open your eyes and ears Delectable. The me part of prince is a trait we should all follow - that of pursuing and recognizing your gifts and sharing of them - and persuing excellence for yourself (hence God). Ahhhhh | |
