Prince and the Revolution Live I just got a new copy of it today. How many people have it?

summer of '85, i used to watch that damn thing every day. i figured out how to hook my boom box up to the VCR and i made a tape of it, and i listened to it every night. i haven't seen it in years and years and years, but whenever someone plays a snippet from it, i'm like pavlov's dog and i can tell ya how many times he's gonna say "good god" in the next sixty seconds!!! | |

The broadcast of the Parade tour that I saw (the birthday show?) looked as if it were being packaged for eventual retail release...it had snazzy credits and was very professionally shot...and then there was the SOTT movie, which of course WAS released in theaters and soonafter on VHS (hopefully on DVD sooner than later)...and if I'm not mistaken, the Livesexy video was released in Europe on laser disc, right? So really, seems like there was at least the INTENTION of releasing live videos for all those tours, but the distribution was just kinda inconsistent. | |
