MJ's "The way you make me feel"/P's "Thielves in the Temple"

I found some similarities in the MJ's video "The way you make me feel" with P's "Thielves in the Temple", I mean, the scene where the pale one dances in the haze, falls on the stomach and humps the ground.
IT AIN'T ABOUT THE TRIPPIN' BUT THE SEXUALITY, TURN IT UP!!!

I totally agree and I've always thought the Thieves video was Prince's most MJ-esque moment...his dancing rivals Michael's and has many similarities in choreography.

The songs bear no similarity, though, which I think is obvious. I like both of them equally now, but I got into Michael's first, cause I was a kid and he appealed more at the time.

"he don't want me to whoop his hero, Eric Clapton, but i'm a get in that azzz!!"

- Prince, "Glam Slam Boogie".

IceTen, the orger AKA mrdespues, who has obviously run out of replies in that account.

Yes i do agree also. when i see the thieves in the temple video, i kind of cringe when that part comes on and P and all the dancers hump the ground because I've already seen that in MJ's video which came out two years before that. I don't take it too personal though, although i love the song of thieves in the temple better than the way u make me feel, P's video wasn't his best and no one really talks about it, so oh well.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Prince was humping the floor when Mike was still in diapers. What are ya'll talking about? If anything, Mike copied P by humping the floor and touching himself.

Sorry, but, to me, his dancing is no way on par with Mikes "The way u make me feel", P's dancing is also more akin to New kids on the block "Step by step" video or something like that! It's rather naff Newjack dancing, BUT I do love the gliding backwards move he and the 3 gameboyz do! You know, when he puts his arms in the air, over his head, and slids to the left of the screen on one leg whilst looking to the right of the screen?

I personally love the video though, it gets very strange when the extended part drops in! Love the dark, backstreet atmosphere! Prince trying to be street started here I think! Did he fail in this vid.....errrr yes! Whole album has a street party feel though, for 1990 though of course!
I liked it when P tried to be hip. The music, above the image, was slammin' just as much as other cool acts at the time!

I remember people at the time unfairly dissed him 4 this image change though...
