What the hell was Grafitti Bridge? It was like a bad school play video taped by someones dad in the audience. The sets were a complete joke and the dialogue was horrible. It was unique, I give it that. When youre trying to break new ground, like I think the film thrived for, it could turn out like that wreck of a film. I thought about this a lot and come to the conclusion that the sets and scenary made Grafitti so horrible. I say that cause purple rain hadhorrible dialogue and acting too but the cinematography was pretty good. Purple Rain had great scenery that sticks with you (the scene with prince and Vanity at the lake, rding on the motocycle past an overpass) and thats what seperates Purple Rain from Grafitti Bridge.

hmm...i know i would, definitely.

BUT -- only if it were a remake, i don't want no new material, and definitely no purple bridge III.

what remakes could he do?

The Wiz (playing the part of Richard Pryor)?
Soylent Green (the part of Charlton Heston)?
Midnight Cowboy (the part of Dustin Hoffman / "Ratso" Rizzo)?
The Omega Man (again, Heston)?
The Wiz (the part of Michael Jackson)?
or how's this for the friggin wacko -- Hiroshima, mon amour (the part of the Japanese man)?

oh, i could come up with so many more, but y'all are going to dawg me for it -- my vote is for Midnight Cowboy right now...imagine it taking place in $apolis, and not NYC...hell, Morris could play Joe Buck... thumbs up!

With all the buzz around the DVD releases, it got me thinking that Prince is the only person (don't want to call him an 'actor) who, if I saw he was in a film, I'd see it. Hell, I even saw "Graffiti Bridge" in the theatre and thought it was terrible, but I'm still glad I witnessed it. So...what if Prince made another one of his "movies," would you go see it?

yes

prince should work with peeps who

have the creative juices and insightful

visions that would flow with his

awesome imagination and wit

he should help put 2 gether

something that has never been done

before

something brilliant and enlightening

Actually, the only movie I would anticipate of Prince's in the future would be a concert flick, much like what he did with Sign O' The Times. And it better be damn good because, believe me, SOTT is a tough act to follow.

i think prince has comedic talent.

I would love 2 see him in a movie again. Even if it was a small part. I'm sure he could surprise the critics!!

I think Prince is very funny. I think that if he would do the right project that was written and directed by someone other than himself - he would do a great job. It's those homemade flicks that kinda go south. He was lucky with 'Purple Rain' because it came along at the right exact moment MTV was hitting it big. To me, 'Purple Rain' is one long music video. A video that cemented me in his musical world forever! But he would be great in a comedy of some sort.

I just downloaded Princes Muppets tonight appearance and it's obvious that his acting skills has improved a lot. So why not, put him in a movie. I'll go see it(as long as he doesnt direct it, or write it or have anything to do with the concept. I love the guy but thats just not his thing)
