Tell me what Happened Exactly cause I told you I wasn't around from 1999 to 2002. Tell me about the Celebrations? All, I have to say is Let God or Your Higher Power or Diety Judge. I look at if a person is Good Or Not Not Their SEXUALITY. In the Bible Aren't There Examples Of HOMOSEXUALITY? I THINK Yes,There is.....Listen, I Like Guys and I Like Girls. I see Nothing Wrong with 2 PEOPLE who ARE IN LOVE! I Don't JUDGE! Shouldn't DIFFERENT STROKES For DIFFERENT FOLKS apply here?

Larry's nothing more than a has-been who USED Prince to get back on the big stage and get exposure for his shitty music. He pushed all the right buttons cuz he had Prince by the grapes. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

Now of course if you don't believe in Christianity or the teachings of the Bible then all I can say to that is. Okay cool walk your walk. Everything I say to you from the Bible will seem like foolishness. I can live with that. I can even respect your belief. Where I have to draw the line as a Christian is when someone who does not read the bible and does not know it, tries to speak lies and mistruths about it. In the scripture it clearly states in Leviticus, and in Pauls letter to the Romans that homosexuality is a sin. That is both old and new testament. And these are just two examples. The scripture is ripe with its opinions about homosexuality.
So where do we go from here? I am sure I am in the UTTER MORON crowd that you are speaking about. I can live with that, the difference is you are speaking opinion and I am speaking scriptural fact. Like it or not these are the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. I for one try to change to the bible not try to change the bible when I read something in it that challanges me. As always some people will be offended. However this ultimately means nothing as long as the truth of the written scripture is honored. Peace Yes you are an UTTER MORON for believing that shit in the first place. Believing a book written 2000 years ago rather than using your own common sense, and then having the cheek to write peace at the end of your comment. How can something that a person has no choice over (from birth) be considered a sin?

Most of you obviously have no clue what you're really talking about. It's very easy to have an opinion, but what's its based on? The point is that because humanity is 'using its own common sense' we're living in the world as we know it. And it's a huuuge succes, isn't it!? I've read the news today, oh boy.... so you have to have the bible at hand to refer to before you make a decision? my opinion on this issue is based upon the fact that homosexuality is from birth, not a choice.
i can critisise people because of the choices they make (like you on this issue) but not those that are part of themselves from birth. so would you say it is a sin for people to have ginger hair (genetic) if the bible said so? i am waiting now for the argument to move onto gay lifestyle instead of human sexuality.

Huh? If u don't believe in Christianity? Nobody can say that! I know Christianity exists. The fact that we're on this thread arguing this thrilling argument proves it. I also believe in the teachings of the Bible. I've seen this book and it does indeed contain what u could call 'teachings'. Just to say one thing; I'm studying Sexual Relationships in conjuntion with Christian Ethics for my GCSEs (UK Exam), and the Bible says FA about Homosexuality being wrong; Jesus says nowt about homosexuality.
It's all down to how the church has interpreted it over the years and that the catholic popes have deemed it wrong. The Bible actually says Jack about homosexuality with only one reference to Sodomy in the tale of Sodom and Gamorah, the fact that that refers to sodomy as well is debatable. Otherwise there ain't nowt.

Peeps see in the Bible what they wanna see.... It doesn't "diss" gays. Religion is about opening one's mind.

Otherwise there ain't nowt. That is not true in the least! Once again if you don't believe in Christianity that is one thing but don't say that is not in the bible. Once again Leviticus chapter 18 verse 22 and Pauls letter to the Romans Chapter1 verses 21-30 speak very clearly on this subject. Now if the teacher in your class is telling you otherwise please confront them with these texts and ask why you have not been taught this? This has nothing to do with hate or homophobia. This has nothing to do with interpretation. This is scriptural fact. Look it up yourself. The bible has many examples of this. So I am sorry but what you are saying is not what is written. I know this is not the thread for this debate so feel free to orgnote me if you like and we can discuss this further. THE CARDINAL HAS SPOKEN!!!

The point I was making is whether or not you know Christianity exists is a far cry from believing in it. Many people know Christianity and don't belive in it. I mean do you think Jews and Muslims and Hindu's are unaware of the Christian faith? No but they believe a different way. And that is to be respected. My point to Z was if you don't believe in the Christian faith that is one thing but don't go misquoting and mis-teaching it. Has profoundly effected the world in a way no other profit before or since has. Sure in some ways and practices of Jesus teachings did exist before him. Does it really matter who's sleeping with who? Homosexual behavior is what it is. Not eveyone who is gay was "born gay". I know better than to subscribe to that nonesense. If that were true, the desire to experiment would be non-existent and there would be no bi-sexuals nor would there be people who have "switched". At the same time, if you allow someone's sexual behavior to dictate your entire opinion of them, you can't be wise since its no one else's business.
As for religion, I believe that one who believes in nothing will fall for anything. Some people realize this early in life; some later on, and some never do. I can't roll with the JWs' principles, but evidence of a higher power is abundantly obvious to those who are LOOKING.

Not even a little bit. I also doubt that you have 'read' the bible. Once again it requires study in introspection. Whether or not you and I are ever at peace is a complete non issue to me. Be unpeaceful for all I care. I believe in my comments on scripture and homosexuality and no amount of name calling or bullying will ever change that. Nor will it make me not speak the truth as the bible is concerned. See you question an afterlife I do not. I guess that is why you question scripture. Either way as I first stated you are speaking opinion I am stating scriptural facts I guess my posts has given you your opportunity for your to practice your own righteous indignation. By your belief system you are right as long as you arenot calling that foolishness Christianity I have no problem. You feel attacked because at the end of the day my argument is based in scripture that by your own words is 2000 years old. I can sleep at night with that on my side. I am through with this I am sure you will write back. However you are in to attacking and that is boring. I am interested in the free exchange of ideas despite disagreement. See I unlike you have Gay friends (all of whom know how I feel and respectfully disagree, as a matter of fact we rarely discuss it now), White, agnostic, athiest, ultra conservatives, radical liberals.
