The australian dvd of purple rain is only the movie... i think the U.S dvd has the trailor... and even though ive only seen it once.. there was one thing i remember... something like prince punching morris in the face in the rehearsal room... hmmm there were lots in the trailor that wasnt in the movie DAMMIT Music is the power.

I have worked behind the scenes on some of the interviews conducted.
There will be various people from the Purple Rain time, and they are sharing stories of what it was like to be involved with the Movie & Prince at the time. One of the things that was said over & over again was HOW COLD IT WAS OUTSIDE. BRRRRR. Some of the people they have interviewed have been: The Revolution (wendy, lisa, dr., bobbyz,) , The Time (Morris, Jerome), some of the Actors , Crew Members (wardrobe, make-up, production members), The Director, Local Radio Personalities, other artists (The Suburbs, Suicide Commandos) playing First Avenue & other venues in MPLS at the time ect. You will hear FUN stories and Testimonials of there experiences while making the movie ect. I think this will be a fun part of the DVD extras. At this time I do believe that Prince HAS NOT included any commentary- But you never know- he may change his mind.
