I just saw the video for the first time last night. Not a big fan of the song...but the video made me take notice of a few things...

It features practically all of the videos NOT included on the Hits Video Collection (which is seriously lacking in videos...even for the ones that were on the CD set. Since it is a retro collage of past videos, and it was a new song, why wasn't it on the Video Collection?

Actually, if anyone knos the story behind the CD set and the NON inclusions (which is obvious it would have been a 4 disc set) but more so...the story behind the videos (come on no When doves cry???) and perhaps reasons for NO BATMAN stuff included at all.

It seemed to be professional as the cuts were synched to the music and there was even a part where he is singing the song into a mic on stage.

Starts with If I was your GF, and then in no order...U got the look, Partyman (I think..he's the Joker), Sexy MF, My name is Prince, Doves Cry, Gangster glam (sans rollerskates), glam slam, anotherlover, maybe more...cream was there and Peach too.

Maybe it's a really good boot done by a fam who is great on video editing. There's a few around here...that's for sure.

I agree that collection sucked. I hadn't watched it in a LONG time and did just recently...only to be reminded how sucky it was. Though there were a few good moments on it like IWBYL...him young, fresh, long hair...a simple yet very nice video...if anything for the nostalgia.

Yeah, it's a montage video of all his past stuff, dating back from 1993 when Pink Cashmere was released as a single on The Hits compilation.

I have the video and it is from MTV Europe. Kind of grainy in the transition from PAL to NTSC, but it is a nice video nonethless.

More retrospective.
