I'm sure you guys have heard the term "whipping around town" to refer to driving around town looking hip.
I think hip hop artists got it from there. I don't remember where I first heard it, but I knew exactly what P was talking about in the song. I think Prince doesn't have anything against hip hop. Doesn't he give a shout out to Dre on Life of the Party in addition to the Musicology shout outs? S Filthy cute and baby U know it | |

WORDS THAT ARE USED IN THE URBAN CULTURE: Chips=Money, dough, scrilla, lootchie, scratch, ends, benjamins, green, big faces( $100 bills)etc.. Whip=Car (preferably a high line car), automobile, ride, b.... or h.. puller, etc. THESE WORDS USED IN A SENTENCE: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CHIPS AND A NICE WHIP YOU CANNOT GET WITH ONEDIVA...
