I like this thread so let me say my piece. Folks Prince is like anybody else and just like anybody his shit stinks. Not everything Prince comes out with is going to be 1999 or Sign of the Times. Part of the joy of listening to such a prolific artist is continual excitement over new releases but we can’t deny the pain: the constant realization that Prince has very low quality control standards. He’s just too in love with his own shit and there is a significant portion (NPS, NEWS, Chaos and Disorder, half of Chocolate Invasion, Come, and Slaughter House, and two thirds of Emancipation) which is just awful. And I know that cuz I bought all that garbage so how much “silence” is enough!? ego tripping out | |

Yeah, It would be called:
"Rave - guest artist contributions" On second thoughts no. I'll wait for a snippet to appear on the website and see if I like it. I liked that bit before "Prettyman" on Rave. Would it sound like that? "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"
