Maybe if it included remixed versions and some videos. But the videos would have to be completely dark in their entirety. biggrin

Yes!!!! This would be considered a eccentric move and make Rock&Roll history. This would make the most shocking and surprising moments in Rock list. To this day there has only been one other person who relesed a album of complete silence. A doctor conducting some sort of test.

maybe it would be eccentric for other people, but because its prince everyone will just laugh - its not like we're not used to the guy doing freaky stuff

Yes, if Prince got Tony M. to guest on the album...

...it'd be nice to hear Tony not rapping. razz

Four possible answers...

1) Yes, but knowing Prince, the album would contain one track with 49 seconds of annoying music following it, causing me to have to fast-forward all the time.

2) No, I'd get the bootleg of it, cause it would have better graphics.

3) ) No, the silence demo is better.

4) Yes, but if Prince records an album of silence, and someone actually listens to it, can it still be silent?

Peace, my friends!

Yes, but only if there was a NPG Operator intro before each track, to get me in the mood for the song.

Yeah, probably. Obviously, word would spread, and that thing would be like $0.50 after 3 weeks of being out, so... No harm done.

I actually think this thread brings up a valid point...that some of us--myself included--are blind followers of Prince. I mean, we'd buy Prince's "The Purple Cornfield: Bluegrass 4 Ur Ass," wouldn't we???

I guess that's what a FANATIC is...we're "completists." In other words, no matter how much you like or dislike a particular release, you don't really feel, as a "true" fan, like you have the option to NOT buy it...

U KNOW WHAT EYE MEAN.
