I hope the "extras" are not just 8 videos & a trailer

hmmm?? I mean it has to be more if you have another full disk the videos are what like 4 minutes a piece so thats 32 minutes & the trailer is a few minutes. So they gotta have a documentary which I hope is longer then 15-20 minutes.?

really interesting would be bring out dvd's of the purplerain-tour and the lovesexytour. Those movies are really not that interesting (old fashioned, bad acting, bad story, only great music, but the music is allready on cd, so why bother?)

I don't think any video will be on Under the Cherry Moon and Grafitti Bridge because of limited space for all of them. Besides the should be released on a total video collection DVD anyhow. Warner's can not release Sign O the Tinmes because MCA owns the rights to it. The version you might see in stores is the Brazil import version. The only official release on DVD. From what I have heard it is a bad copy of the movie.Now if Warners cvan only release The Undertaker and The sacrafice of Victor plus the Lovesexy concert from Germany on DVD all will be swell.

It was released through MCA/Universal in the states, and they still own the US video rights. There has been a (fairly crappy) DVD release in South America, but it was completely unauthorised. There was an official, low-key release through a small time distributor in the Netherlands, but many have complained that it appears to be taken from the original video release.

Sorry, I know you may not have known that, but it seems like every week I'm correcting folks who think that SOTT was a WB release, and want to petition them to release it. That won't do any good. Petition Universal.

oh good, now I can get rid of the crappy PR DVD I have right now....not the greatest quality!!

There will be commentary from The Revolution on the Purple Rain Special Edition dvd. Not long after Wendy appeared with Prince on Tavis Smiley she was interviewed in a magazine and was saying how her and the other members were taping commentary. But I am sure there is no Prince commentary.

The video of Take Me With U, on the other hand, is one of the great lost Prince video gems - a super-long jam, that even turns into a little of 'Controversy' in the middle!
