they look awkward and stiff together,imo. especially in that academy awards pic(the purple dress). very cardboard and they're not communicating with each other-they looking in opposite directions in a couple of them. and i completely disagree with the comment that you can't tell anything about a relationship by a photo. body language says tells the real story!!! it usually gives your tru feelings(at that moment in time) away.

i don't know if that means for their marriage but they do appear stiff and erm.. not cozy. affected might be the right word. oh well.

A man his age wants somebody young, not somebody around his age. I think what he really wants is a family of his own.

With both his parents passing away and him not having a strong tight bond with his family (parents, siblings) since he was little, it would make sense.

I totally agree - Mayte was the love of his life and it was a big heart break for him. Mani was there to pick up all the pieces and she was was easier to be with. She was ready to do anything he asked of her like a lap dog - Dull if you ask me.

Also Mani was different as she didn't want fame and she could support him in his work. She now pretty much acts like his manager and runs everything on his behalf. I think he needs her now to run his business as well as be his doting wife.
