My wife and I danced our first dance at our reception to "Betcha By Golly Wow!" It was a good song for the crowd, and very fitting for the ocassion. It's pretty enough to be accepted for the relo's and attendees, but still has the man's stamp on it for style. I enjoyed it greatly. | |

Most likely "Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother, Wife." If I marry my current partner, I may have an uphill struggle: She wants David Bowie's "As The World Falls Down" as the first song (she's a big "Labryinth" fan!)

TheOne7 said: We had a very tough time deciding between these two songs which would be the first song. Our first song/dance was Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother, Wife. Then later I sang Forever In My Life to her as a surprise, she had know clue it was coming.
OK. I'm completely freaked - I got married 6 months ago, and have nearly EXACTLY the same story. We had planned to use FLSMW, which I had played her when we got engaged. Then I suprised her by doing this lip-synch dance to "Adore" ("FIML" was my next choice, but I stuck with Adore). It was very funny and my wife Yael was crying through her laughter, but my younger brother still gets embarrassed by any mention of it. He was very ashamed of me!
