I have another question for anyone who is a member of the NPGMC. The downloadable music files are going to be up until March 15th right? So what I am going to do is download my 10-17 faves and then burn then to CD, so that I don't have to keep putting my computer on to listen to them. What i want to know is, will it be possible to burn these files to CD, and if so, how can it be done?

Right,

First of all go and download the free demo of MusicMatch(www.musicmatch.com). This will enable you to convert the MP3 files you've downloaded into .WAV files.

Now go out and buy a CD-Rewriter which should also hopefully include a basic version of EASY CD-Creator. Install both of these onto/into your PC.

Open Easy CD Creator, select "Make Audio CD" add the .WAV files you created earlier, insert a blank cd into the cd-writer drive and select record.

Bingo.

One nice new Prince CD!

Or use Window Media Player and let it do all of the conversion for you, saving yourself a whole stage of creating your own compilation.

I always use Nero to burn my MP3 music files.
It uses a Explorer-like screen, where you can simply drag the MP3's to the CD and burn is as a data CD (with actual MP3's) or as an audio CD, that you can play in any CDplayer.

Where are the music files 2 download???
