The Purple Album Has anyone actually heard this CD? I've heard the Grey Album that DJ Danger Mouse did with the Beatles, but I wasn't sure if there was really one with Prince's Music. SO WHAT IF WE'RE CONTROLLING ALL THE OIL, IS IT WORTH THE CHILD DYING 4?

it's a fun listen, if for no other reason than the familiarity of all the sounds.. it's kinda like Purple Rain tossed into a blender. entertaining. "Encore" and "Change Clothes" are the standouts to me.. most tracks work at least "well," but there are a few stretches.
full melodies backing the tracks are only heard on about half the songs, the others will be brand new to your ears. it's worth the money, IMO. | |

What is the msg at the end of the final song? Is it the words from the end of Darling Nikki played the right way round instead of backwards like they are on the purple rain album? | |

It definately is the end of Darling Nicki, from where it goes ha ha ha ha ha kinda and you can hear the rain falling, when played backwards prince speaks forwards!!
