And as I watch the excrutiatongly slow updates of HITS Daily Double (updates every 5 minutes my ass) I see that with about 67% of sales in Musicology is at 17 with 34,853 in sales. Only 5013 separates 9-17 so Prince can certainly move up but a Top 10 finish looks unlikely. That's cool because it has been 5 weeks, Prince is almost assured a Top 20 finish and hopefully Top 15 and he is still getting virtually little radio play compared to the people above him. Interesting things of note from the chart:

1) Usher is the devil (stop buying his crappy CD, lemmings!)
2) Morrissey is going to debut Top 10...and he will still find a reason to be depressed.
3) Mario Winians still Top 10...why?????
4) Prince's comeback will certainly be more successful than Teena Marie's (sales plummeting second week even with a lot more airplay than P.)
5) Don't look now but Lionel Richie is back in the Top 50...I think an Oprah appearance helped him...he still sucks.

Overall, Musicology should sell about 50,000 which is a tremendous 5 week total for the man. Name the last album he had that sold 50K in its 5th week. Playa haters can step off...this album is a hit and "Call My Name" could catipult it back up the chart without the concert sales. I dare ANYONE to bring up the concert sales, blah blah, bullcrap!
