Can someone tell me when Prince was on the Muppet Show I remember a few months ago, I saw a piece of something on TV about the Muppet Show and all their guest celebrities. As I was going into the kitchen, I saw Prince. I had never seen this show and wanted to know if anyone else has seen it. Better yet, does anyone have a pic with Prince and a muppet? I would love to print it and put it on my daughter's bedroom wall. Put the spoon down honey, come on let mama feed you! | |

He was on The Muppets Tonight on September 15, 1997 according to the one website. I think that was the air-date, but I could be wrong. Some other sites claim it aired as early as 2003. I assume the different dates are from different countries. It's somewhere in the mid-90's time period. He performed She Gave Her Angels and they did a muppet version of Starfish and Coffee and joked about stuff like the ass-less pants and how to pronounce his name. There was even a funny segment where Prince was wearing denim bib-overalls and a straw hat I think. I downloaded a clip from it a while ago. It gave me a good laugh. I haven't been able to find a picture, but I'll post one if I come across one. Hope this helps! I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I think he really enjoyed being a part of that show! Although I did not have the priviledge to see it..... I think he has a very childish streak to him.....you know the other side of Prince.....
