I just want to say that I agree with basically everything you've all said on this thread. I don't have time to answer you all right now, so thanks for responding.
By the way, I still think P is the greatest and to be honest I was in a kind of a frustrated mood generally when I started this thread...so I agree with most of what you're all saying! Thanks.

namepeace said: Not a musician, but I consider Prince more like the Magic Johnson of musicians. He wasn't the best shooter or rebounder, he didn't have much "rise," and he wasn't the best defender. But he always went for triple-doubles and engineered the most devastating fastbreak offense anyone has ever seen. If he needed or wanted to, he could score 40. He could also snatch rebounds or even play any of the five positions on the court. He was versatile.
That's what Prince is. He can do more things well than most other artists. I understand what you're saying, but Prince's versatility is what has always impressed me. Good points. "Did u love somebody
But got no love in return? Did u understand the real meaning of love? That it just is and never yearns" ...Prince

Mrdespues, I don't doubt anyone's talents as so many people are capable of surprises. I find that Prince can rip up any genre of music on the guitar, but who's do say that you can't do the same or if not better. If you are that confident in your talents, more power to you. I would like to hear some of your stuff if you have any laid down. __________________________________________________
