Are Prince's Lawsuits Getting Less Heavy-Handed? I just came across a site which had received a letter from Prince's attorneys, advising him to stop manufacturing, distributing and selling bootleg DVDs and videos.
I was actually surprised that they gave him two weeks to stop what he was doing, rather than taking him straight to court... http://www.prince3922.fre..._DVDs.html

I'll tell you what boggles my mind: the fact that an unauthorized company can make a shoddy dvd of 'Sign "O" The Times' & put it into major chain stores, & not raise Prince's eyebrows. (Or is that letter above for that particular company?) | |

No this is not the Brazillian SOTT and they had permission from Univesal to produce that. | |

I never did see the point of him posting this letter on his site. He quite openly sells boots. No question about that - so the point of letting folks know he got a letter from Prince's lawyers would be.....? Maybe the MOON will SHINE a little light on this subject. I'm just bitter.....cuz he's a prick. | |
