Dear Mr Man vs 2045: Radical Man Seems like these are quite similar in sound/feeling. Almost seems like you could replace one with the other. Maybe Musicology should have had Radical man instead or Dr Mr Man.
I pick Radical Man: Very smooth song. I also like the lyrical reference to 1999. Christian Zombie Vampires

I pick Radical Man: Very smooth song. I also like the lyrical reference to 1999. I like Radical Man, I think it is very underated. Prince only occasionally does political/state of society records, and they are always interesting - like Dr Mr. Man and The War, When Will We Be Paid? and of course Sign o The Times. Another song that refers to his musical heroes, Miles Davis, Chuck D, Jimi Hendrix. I like the line, "I don't care whatever Einstein did, I'd rather know, rather know, how they built the pyramid". I also like the rant at the end, about millions dying of diseases they claim has no cure. Suggesting, I guess, that even when they invent cures the third world doesn't necessarily get them because they can't afford the inflated prices of the pharmaceutical companies. It's like, malaria kills more people world-wide each year than aids - and we've actually figured out how to prevent malaria - but you never see celebrities fronting 'war on malaria' charities - it's just not fashionable - and of course it's not a disease which effects the developed world. So I can get with what Prince is saying there. I can imagine this record making people feel uncomfortable and that's why they don't like it.

I have not studied the lyrics of 2045, but I do like the imagry and how he stabs at the music industry..The artists and the players. Dr Mr Man is a decent song as well...but a bit too political. Between the 2 I feel 2045 is more edgier in sound. I think either could have been on Musicology (there are definite swap outs between Slaughterhouse/The Chocolate Invasion/Musicology) Christian Zombie Vampires
