I know the answer to this question which is a NO! But I have a friend who says she seen on some biography of Prince that he has been in prison for drugs. I think that she is getting Prince mixed up with Bobby Brown or Rick James. Does anyone have solid proof of this because I am right and I know she is mixed up. Thanks.

I think your friend does have Prince mixed up with someone else. As far as I know Prince has never been in jail

did have one little run-in with the hometown cops but nothing serious (actually downright funny IMHO), didn't even result in a formal arrest so no mug shot or anything. Read about it here:

I think your friend has him confused with someone else, I'm sure if he'd ever been in any real trouble some enterprising journalist would have brought it to our attention...

Dez Dickerson's book talked about an arrest of Prince and himself for stealing a bullhorn off a commercial airline.

Yeah, I remember that story. There was a big discussion on this site about whether it was Mayte or someone else, since it said Prince's woman and not his wife.
I still don't get why the police were called if they were the only ones in the theater.
