I Love Pink Cashmere and Crucial...... Anyone else love these songs? I think Crucial is one of his best unknown ballads and when
I first got hits bsides and listened to Pink Cashmere I could'nt stop playing it. I probably have hit repeat and let it play over and over again on that song more than any other. To this day when I listen to it I can't listen just once. Its also the same way when I hear Peach if nothing else because of the guitar work on it. I like Peach way more than Cream. Cream sounds so polished but Peach sounds raw. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done. | |

I just got hooked on Pink Cashmere this week. I used to always skip that track..now I can't get enough of it, specially the last minute or two. It's a gem of a song. | |

It's almost taboo to ask a Prince fan what their favorite song is, there's so many. Most of us resort to a top 10 or 5. I have busted my brain and ears for years, and I have to say that Pink Cashmere either #1, #2 or #3. As far as Prince ballads, I have to say it's #1, but I always second guess myself, when I hear Adore...

Crucial isn't bad either but not one that hardly ever makes it on2 one of my 6 'best of prince' mini discs Also nice comparison between Cream and Peach .... ..... can u hear me in the back.... hello.... 'Pink Cashmere' has to be one of his best ever ballads.
'Crucial', I find a little bit annoying, mainly the way his voice 'keens'. 'Pink' wins evry time. | |

Two fabulous choices.. love them both! Adore was used on SOTT instead of Crucial.. they're both so good! Both prince classics.
Both are repeat songs too.. Underneath the Cream reminded me of Pink.. but not as good. | |

Not many have had the chance of hearing the full-length version of Crucial, whilst most people have experienced 'Pink Cashmere' in all its glory.
I would say 'Crucial' is a more enjoyable listening experience than 'Pink', but I love both songs. The heavily edited version of 'Crucial' that eventually appeared on 'Crystal Ball' is not a true indication of this track's greatness. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs.
