I've seen both the Purple Rain and Lovesexy tours, but my memories of them are jumbled with the images from the respective videos.
I was offered a ticket by a friend to see the Parade tour, but had to turn it down because I was going away on vacation with my parents at the time. Dammit, I still regret that decision to this day. The tour I still would like to have seen the most would be 1999 with the Time and Vanity 6 before Jimmy and Terry got fired. | |

I was super lucky to have seen P during the Controversy tour. Saw him once on that, twice on 1999, twice Purple Rain, once on Parade which was a hit and run tour, twice Lovesexy, and most recent, his hits tour. Wish he would've toured the US for Signs.I think that was a huge mistake. That wouldv'e made his Lovesexy album and tour so much bigger than it was. Out here in L.A., P didnt come close to selling out none of his concerts and it was at the Sports Arena which is a lot smaller than the Forum where P sold out seven nights during Purple Rain.
