did i hear nicole richie correctly ? she was with prince during his purple rain tour ????? i had NO idea !! what do you know about this ?

She's a liar. She wasn't even born then...or perhaps she was just a little baby. Liar!

she was born in '81 so it's impossible that she even remembers the purple rain tour, even if she was there.

Nicole was born in 1981. Remember, Sheila E had opened for Lionel Richie on his tour previous to opening for Prince and the Revolution on the Purple Rain tour. She may have been there, but I doubt Nicole remembers anything about the tour, though.

I heard that too. I don't think she's lying. I love Lionel, too...he can't touch Prince though.

Apparently, she was the daughter of one of the techs or something / make up artist...someone who worked on the tour...and Lionel kept seeing her on the stage and said... "Who is that little girl?"...the mother of the child couldn't take care of her anymore (for some unknown reason)...and Lionel ended up adopting her.

I saw an interview with Lionel not too long ago...and that's where I heard it from...cuz his daughter is getting into music...and he told the story about how he "adopted her"...

From what I've been told, Nicole is the daughter of Pete Escovedo, Sheila's Brother. Anyone who can back me up or refute this is much appreciated.
