I just have to get this off my chest.
Why is it when I read threads these days, they always start out with the words, "I dreamt, Last night I had a dream, etc., etc., etc." I love P as much as the next gal (except for Zelaria) BUT DAMN. Day dreaming, night dreaming, sleep walking. Something tells me there are people out here who need more hobbies. (Nothing with sharp instruments please).

Yeah - I dream about the man too . But, I dunno, just the other night I dreamt that I was in a theatre type setting, actually, it kinda looked like the set from the Outkast "Roses" video. Anyway, I was up on stage and P kept comin up to me and saying all this weird stuff and his teeth were all gnarly and he had crazy braces on them . Wasn't a sexy dream to say the least

Once i dreamed that Prince was on a rehearsal playign endorphine machine, just the intro riff, and me, some friends, madonan and sting were looking, eeh

At other time i dreamed i was watching TV and Prince was singing in portuguese with the Rave outfit

Other dream I remember was that i was seeing a video of Prince and Hendrix playing guitar together, the riffs were great, and the video was brownish black and white and prince had a long coat like dirt min, but with the pants on. the song was great anyway. something like ben harper would do.

i had a dream the other day that i was at the front row during a P concert, and i picked up a signed rare copy of the black album, and Prince told me i could keep it. Then a bit later he said, naah, that's worth a lot, so he gave me CD3 from Emancipation instead..

I hope he's not that mean in real life

I dreamed once that Prince was with a purple suit playing my michelle from gun n roses without distortion. it sounded damn funky on the dream. And i was scream "hey it ain´t no funk!"

I have a recurring dream where I go to a market stall somewhere and pick up a load of Prince bootlegs or rare records I've been after for ages. I then wake up saying to myself 'Yay!! I now have..... bugger all...

It's very un-nerving

Well I think it depends on the types of dream people have...and so what? We arent necessarily in charge of the dreams we have! Unless some of us have advanced pre-order dreams type of situations or something.

There's nothing wrong with dreaming about Prince. I watch people who are obsessed with Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Barbara Streisand, Diana Ross etc etc and nobody seems to bash them for being obsessed as they are. How many transexuals even dress like Diana Ross and Madonna? They seem to never get slammed the way people who are obsessed with Prince get it. It shouldn't bother anyone if someone else likes a person so much because even if they spend every waking minute dreaming about them it's their life and their time to do whatsoever they want as long as they don't hurt nobody. There are people on this site that are totally obsessed fans/fams of Prince, but you know what? There are also some people on this site that are obsessed with obsessed Prince fans! They can't seem to live unless they can bash them. Live and let live. but this post is not necessarily a response to this thread, i was just getting this off my chest.

I've only dreamed about Prince ONCE.. Okay?! Once!

YEah... I went to Paisley Park, and it was like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Except, I was one of the fuckup kids. I looked at a guitar wrong or something, and I got kicked out. Next thing I know, I'm face down (like Elvis!) at the front door, and I start making my way to the gate. I turn around, and flip off the building. Next thing I know, I panic and yell "Shit! He heard me!" (yeah, Prince heard me flip him off. He's the man like that). I try to run to the gate, but I trip, and his body guard kicks my ass to end the dream.

To hear Prince is wonderful, to see him on a TV screen, even better. To see and hear him in person is the best it can get in the conscious world. But to know him in your dreams is to truly find heaven. I've rarely had such a privilege, but the nights I have dreamt of him have been the best nights of my life.
