Christopher Tracy Death...Dissed!~

just read that the death scene in Psycho won best death scene in a
recent poll..

but nowhere, i mean nowhere, was there a mention of the

death of Christopher Tracy in Parade.

ok, maybe it wasn't shocking, but i can't remember seeing another

death scene in which someone looked, in their dying, like they

could pop right into the best club in heaven without hitting the powder room first.

where's the props?!?!?

you MUST be joking. the utcm death scene had to be, without a doubt, one of the most badly-acted deaths ever. ev-errrrr. i mean, how the heck you gonna get shot and have no blood/exit wound? and no, the little trickle of blood outta the corner of chrissy-poo's mouth don't cut it.

an immaculate death by gunfire, c'mon now...lol

That would be me!
I'm an acting coach for the gay porn industry, and in my professional opinion, the Under The Cherry Moon death scene is the campest moment in cinema.

what i really love about this scene is after christopher is sizzled, isaac comes up to his daughter mary and sez, "mary, there's nothing more that we can do, let's go home..." what the hell does he mean, nothing more that we can do??? he just had christopher wacked! is he implying that he would try to bring christopher back? is he insinuating that he would like to 'further kill' christopher? my two cents? the scene is thumbs up!

oh, and if you really think about it, is christopher Reallllly dead? the flesh is nuthin....

Comparing Dafoe's death in Platoon to our man being shot in UTCM is like comparing Graffiti Bridge to...I dunno...Purple Rain. lol

NO, the most amazing part of jerome's performance was Not when he was bawling "not now," it was how he super-sped it from the pier (remember when he and katie were cold kicking ass on isaac's bodyguards?) all the way to the final death shot WITHOUT EVER GETTING IN A SPEEDBOAT! how did he get there so damn fast??? christopher had to get in a boat. isaac and his henchmen had to get in a boat. what did jerome do -- FLY?

which makes me wonder one other thing (yeah, HiinEnkelte, you knew this was coming):

WHY DID CHRISTOPHER TAKE MARY TO THE GROTTO, DITCH HER THERE, THEN GO BACK TO THE PIER AND WALK AROUND? WHAT WAS HE DOING ON THE PIER -- WHY DIDN'T HE STAY WITH HIS GIRL? there ain't no reason he needed to be there. all it allowed him was jerome's question, "have you ever had your ass kicked for breakfast?" hmmm

Oh that death scene was terrible. I really like UTCM, but Prince doing "The Bird" when he gets shot is unbearably unreleastic. The blood out of the lip is way tacky, cheesy, blah blah. The line "We had fun, huh?" makes up for everything else, but Prince definitely wins for CHEESIEST death scene, not best.
